Privacy Policy

GDPR Privacy Statement will now be completed electronically during the appointment confirmation and booking process, due to the current pandemic outbreak of COVID-19  2020   This will no longer continue on paper or face to face. It has been redesigned to ensure limited contact. However, treatment plan feedback forms will be brief, completed after the session, with a maintained distance of approximately 1.5m to 2m at all times. All GDPR Privacy and combined data forms will be signed, secure, encrypted and held  by Jotforms UK. 

Our privacy policy explains what personal data is and how we use any personal data and what we collect about you when you are a customer of Healing Hands of Crosby.

This is in relation to the 2018 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

Our DPA offers contractual terms that meet GDPR requirements and that reflect our data privacy and security commitments to our clients.

We can provide the DPA to auditors and demonstrate that HHOC use JotForm for consultation forms and COVID-19 health check forms in a way that demonstrates your data is being processed in a manner that meets your GDPR compliance obligation.

This privacy policy sets out how Healing Hands of Crosby (HHOC) uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website.

HHOC are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Healing Hands of Crosby keep our privacy policy under regular review and we will inform you of any updates in this document. This privacy policy was updated on 1st August 2020.

Marketing

We would like to occasionally send you updated information about our products and services. You would have consented to receive marketing messages by signing the consultation form on your first treatment which you may opt out of at any time. You have a right to stop us from contacting you for marketing purpose if you wish.

What information does HHOC collect about you?

HHOC collects information about you when you contact us first to use our services (whether by telephone, email or upon your first visit for treatment.

Upon signing the consultation form on your first treatment at HHOC you are agreeing that HHOC will keep your details confidential and abide by GDPR guidelines. You also agree that HHOC can contact your via telephone, text message, email regarding your appointments and treatments with us. This also includes the occasional marketing/promotional update of our products, services and availability. An option to ‘opt out’ is always included if you would no longer like us to contact you.

Personal data is collected such as:

· Name

· Date of birth

· Address

· Email address

· Telephone number

· Occupation

· Health conditions including allergies, medication and doses, history of; injuries, operations, illnesses

· GP surgery details and other body treatments currently and previously received

· Lifestyle covering an overview of: exercise, diet, sleep and stress levels

· Information on current physical state (i.e. aches/pains/tension)

If you object to the collection and use of your personal data we may be unable to provide you with our services.

How will we use and store the information about you?

We collect information about you in order to ‘paint a picture’ of our client’s health and lifestyle to cater our treatments to the person’s individual needs and much as we possibly can. Importantly there is also a safety element knowing how to give treatment to the client. This is based on the health information they provided and being aware of any serious conditions that may affect the treatment. In this way we can improve the service you receive on repeat visits.

Our website www.healinghandsofcrosby.co.uk  is simply a public informative platform for potential clients to find out about what we do. The information you supply on our online booking form has no public exposure and will be sent directly  HHOC email: info@healinghandsofcrosby.co.uk 

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

• Internal record keeping.
• We may use the information to improve our products and services.
• We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provide only with your consent.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure.  In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.  All intake form data is held and stored electronically, use JotForm in a way that demonstrates your data is being processed in a manner that meets your GDPR compliance obligation. HHOC has password protected data access, it's compliant, secure and encrypted.
